Volunteer Opportunities

Mentor Families: Christian couples willing to spend 4-8 hours per month with one girl, helping her to know Christ’s love and becoming part of her support system.  *Mentor families are our main volunteer need at this time.*

Life Skills Teachers: Ladies willing to work with the girls on cooking, budgeting, and other life-skills (once a week or when available).

Job Coaches: Ladies willing to give 2-3 days (as needed, when available) to help new residents apply for jobs and prepare for interviews.

Guest Speakers: Give your testimony or teach a devotional weekly or one time.

Prayer Partners:  Prayer is the most powerful tool we have in helping our girls transform their lives. Join us in praying for God to move through this ministry and for our girls as they work to leave behind their pasts and look forward to a new and hopeful future.  We provide our prayer partners with a monthly list of our prayer needs.

Household Repairs: As with any home, things in our house are occasionally in need of repair.  It is a great help to have men and women whom we can call on to fix these things instead of calling a repair man.

• Blow Dryers
• Laundry Detergent

• Paper items such as toilet tissue and paper towels are always needed.
• New or gently used clothing and shoes for teenager girls
• New towels or washrags
• Gift cards to Walmart for resident needs
